After more than 3 years prior to the launch of GeForce GTX 1650, NVIDIA is now launching a new GPU for its entry-level segment. Colourful as well as MSI, have confirmed the GTX 1630 by listing them on their websites yesterday. The 1630 chipset relies on TU117-150 GPU, a cut-down variant of the slowest NVIDIA turning GPU
The GTX 1630 is expected to launch with the same lineup as the GTX 1650 series, with most of the cards shopping with 75 W TDP, dual or a single fan cooling solution by board partners as well as an ITX and low profile form factors.
So far, the GGTX 1630 is said to be launched today, on 28th January but we don’t have official confirmation yet. The GTX 1630 is based on a memory bus of 64-bit which is even less than 1050 Ti’s 128-bit memory bus resulting in a bandwidth of 96 GB/s of the GTX 1630.
