Zen 4 architecture of AMD Ryzen 9 7950X paired with the TSMC 5nm process is more efficient than Intel’s fifth revision of the ‘Intel 7’ process and the x86 hybrid architecture. Raptor Lake consumes more power than Alder Lake, but it is also much faster than its predecessor, earning it some leeway.
