Black Shark, a Xiaomi-backed gaming smartphone & accessories manufacturer globally launched its latest flagship series consisting of a base model and a gaming-focused pro model, the Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro respectively.

The Black Shark 5 pro is powered by the 1st gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 with LPDDR5 and enhanced UFS 3.1 for faster, more power-efficient, cheaper UFS solutions. Moreover, the smartphone sports a 144Hz OLED display with a whopping touch sampling rate of 720Hz, one of the earliest to sport this number.

The phone can charge itself to 100% within 15 minutes at the earliest while its “Even Charging” mode takes about 24 minutes to do the same without any heating issue by intelligently adjusting the charging speed to keep the temperature within limits. The charger comes included in the box.

Black Shark 5 also introduces the latest ultra-responsive Magnetic Popup Shouler Triggers 2.0. The triggers disappear elegantly into the edge of the smartphone.

The smartphone is coming with dual-symmetrical linear stereo speakers paired with high-power amplifiers and an oversized sound cavity, offering a great gaming experience. For voice input, you also get 3 microphones with active noise cancellation. The smartphone brand has also collaborated with DTS and Cirrus Logic Technology to further improve its sound quality.
