Building a Gaming PC Build Under 15000 can be a tough task but thanks to AMD’s great lineup of APUs, we were able to do so while achieving decent entry-level gaming performance. We are using an AMD Athlon 3000G that comes pre-equipped with AMD Vega 3 Graphics, equivalent to and better than GeForce 940m and Intel HD counterparts.
With this 15000 gaming PC build, You can expect 60+ frame rates on low-intensive games like CS:GO and descent playable FPS on high-intensive games like GTA 5.
Let’s quickly take a look at what this 15000 pc build has to offer you in terms of performance and features and discuss what you can do the best to achieve the most out of it.
BUDGET
The main objective behind this PC build is to get some entry-level gaming performance while being under the price of ₹15000. No easy task for sure however thanks to the AMD APUs lineup we were able to complete this PC build by opting for an AMD Athlon 3000G.
The 3200G is pretty much the only option available for you right now which is the best, beats its competitors from intel and is cheap. Opting for an APU is the only way to build a PC under ₹15000 as it eliminates the cost of the standalone dedicated graphics card.
PERFORMANCE
You wouldn’t be playing games at max settings while also not crashing the PC. This build is committed to only entry-level low intensive games like CS:GO, Fortnite and overwatch. This APU should be able to achieve 60 FPS on these games at low settings. It should also be able to give you anywhere between 35-50 FPS on big AAA titles like GTA 5 at 720p low settings.
AMD APUs
An APU, for those who don’t know, is a branding term used by AMD to address their lineup of CPUs that comes pre-equipped with integrated graphics, it stands for an accelerated processing unit – APU in short. AMD’s iGPU-equipped processors, APU comes with AMD Vega Graphics just as intel ones have Intel HD or UHD graphics. In our case, the Athlon 3000G comes with Vega 3 graphics, equivalent to Nvidia’s GeForce 940m and is better than its Intel HD counterparts.
An APU is fully reliable on your system’s RAM as it doesn’t have one of its own, unlike a dedicated graphics card. For that reason, it’s crucial to have a fast enough RAM in your build when trying to achieve maximum performance out of your APU.

This A320m motherboard from ASRock is the perfect entry-level motherboard that comes with enough ports and sockets for this build and provides great features. It’s the perfect starter motherboard for any pc built with Ryzen 1, 2 or 3 generations of processors. Since we are only going for a single stick 4 GB ram clocked @ 2400 Mhz, this motherboard will have a vacant DIMM slot for future upgrades. You get 6 USB 3.0 ports and an M.2 slot for future upgrades as well. Overall it is one of the best motherboards for a cheap pc build and costs just under ₹4000

Vengeance DIMM(s) is one of the best RAM options available out there. They perform very well at reasonable prices. The Corsair Vengeance ram kit is our favourite DDR4 memory product. These memory modules are coated with plain, slatted heatsinks made of solid aluminium, and they’re low-profile too – so they are very small & don’t take much space to fit in. You also get XMP 2.0 for easy overclocking. The lack of RGB means there’s more room in the budget to improve the performance quality.

An SSD is generally considered to be a must-have for a Gaming PC but for this 15000 pc, we are only opting for a cheap 500 GB HDD alternative. We are still recommending you spend a little extra on an SSD addon for faster boot times & loading speeds.

A very basic PC cabinet for cheap gaming PC builds. You get no tempered glass panels or any sort of RGB lighting. But, it’s still decent enough. Our components will fit easily into the cabinet and the cooling aspects are also taken care of since we don’t need much cooling for this build simply because it wouldn’t generate much heat in the first place. The processor would be fine with just the AMD’s stock cooler.

The fintech SMPS is a nice cheaper alternative to ordinary PSUs. It’s basically the same as a linear power supply unit & can be used interchangeably. The only difference between an SMPS and a PSU is just the way they convert AC Input Voltage to DC output voltage. This one only costs about ₹700 so if you are building a budget PC on tight budgets, Frontech SMPS is a way to go.
